This has been a very challenging year for the students and staff of the Vermillion School District, but with your support of the Vermillion Public Schools Foundation, we have been able to directly impact the lives of our students, teachers and staff. Your donations have provided masks for every student/staff in the district, individual music kits for our youngest students, teachers’ training grants, library furniture, author visits, art supplies, scholarships as well as essential items like meals, shoes and warm clothing for the most vulnerable in our schools and much more. In all over $43,000 dollars went to meet expenditures that benefitted our students, teachers and staff in 2020.

As we move into the holiday season, we are asking those who can to support the Foundation’s mission of ‘providing opportunities that ignite excitement in learning’. To meet this goal, we are asking for your donations to our Excellence Fund which supports the work we do and allows us to build a self-sustaining organization and the Experiential Learning Fund. Once the pandemic starts to subside, we want to be prepared to support field trips, service learning and other hands-on experiences which are high on the wish lists of our public school educators. Every little bit adds up and helps as we strive to provide opportunities for our children.
